Education:
BA of Illustration from Syracuse University
Work History:
My first job upon graduation was working
for a small studio that colored comic books. Our studio
colored comics from a variety of different publishers
including, Akklaim, Image, Marvel and I also colored numerous
covers for Wizard, the comics magazine.
Building on my computer skills, I moved into the accessory/licensing
industry. For over four years I designed backpacks and
handbags featuring licensed characters from Disney, Nickelodeon,
Warner Bros., and Peanuts.
I then moved into the publishing industry, working at
HarperCollins Publishers, designing special edition book
covers, catalogs, and promotional materials. I then moved on to Hachette Book Group, where I am currently the Manager of Web Graphics and Production.
When I'm not designing websites, I can be found reading comics, building WWII model airplanes, or fantasizing about becoming a pro mini golfer.
Computer
Skills:
MAC and PC proficient. Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator,
Quark X-Press, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Streamline.
