The story

Don Diablo is renowned for pushing the boundaries of music, technology, and visual innovation. For the HEXAGON Light Experience, OneEightyOne was commissioned to develop a bespoke interactive LED lighting installation that reflects the futuristic identity of the HEXAGON brand. The result is an immersive lighting environment where architecture, technology, and dynamic light effects come together to create a memorable visitor experience.

Combining custom-engineered LED fixtures, intelligent DMX lighting control, and precision programming, the installation transforms the space into a fully synchronized visual experience. Every lighting effect is designed to complement the music and architecture, creating an engaging environment for content creation, events, and brand experiences while showcasing the versatility of modern architectural and entertainment lighting.


THE
PROCESS

Custom Lighting Design

The project started with the development of a bespoke lighting concept based on the iconic HEXAGON identity. Every LED element was carefully positioned to create clean geometric lines and a striking three-dimensional effect, resulting in a distinctive visual signature that is instantly recognizable.

Engineering & Installation

OneEightyOne engineered and supplied a fully customized LED lighting system that seamlessly integrates into the interior architecture. Careful planning and precision installation ensured that every lighting element aligned perfectly, delivering uniform illumination and a premium finish while keeping all technical components discreetly hidden.

Smart Lighting Control

The installation was completed with an advanced DiGidot lighting control system, allowing the entire lighting experience to be programmed with dynamic scenes, color transitions, and synchronized animations. This intelligent control platform enables the space to adapt effortlessly to live performances, video productions, special events, and immersive brand activations.
