About the Project

The story

The Grand Creek Residence came to us with the mission to be reimagined - its previous lighting failed to reveal the true excellence of its design. Now rising boldly within the bustling district of Dubai, the building is powered with illuminating force that glides across its surface, shifting subtly from floor to floor, never same as before. Through transformative lighting, the residence gains a renewed character, unique and immersive from every angle.

PROCESS

Reliable Outdoor Solution

The client requested a durable stand-alone wall-washer fit for long-term operation and extreme weather conditions. The G54 is a perfect candidate for the job - with a dust- and water- resilient IP67 rating, UV resistance and a storage temperature capacity up to 70 °C, it ensures a consistent, uncompromised performance.  

Soft glow effect

To achieve the smooth surface effect, the luminaries where installed as a back light behind the translucent fabric. This technique is used to create more depth and diffuse light across the façade, making it more subtle by hiding the light source.  

Smart & safe infrastructure

The G54 comes with a built-in DMX RDM/PxLNet control system, which can be controlled remotely and set customized triggers. The hot Middle Eastern climate requires extra safety precautions, which is why upon client's request the lights automatically shut down if the temperature exceeds 55 °C.
