About the Project

The story

The Regency Lobby combines timeless elegance with contemporary architectural lighting to create a memorable first impression for every guest. As part of a complete lighting upgrade, OneEightyOne replaced the existing installation with a new custom LED lighting solution designed to improve performance, reliability, and visual impact.

Working closely with the project team, we engineered and delivered a bespoke lighting installation that seamlessly integrates with the lobby's architecture. By combining innovative LED technology with precision engineering, the new system enhances the atmosphere of the space, creating a warm, welcoming environment while providing a future-proof solution that elevates the overall guest experience.

PROCESS

Finding The Balance

When it came to lighting up The Regency Lobby, we faced the challenge of aligning linear fixtures for optimal effect. So, we rolled up our sleeves and got creative, customizing fixtures with just the right lengths to ensure everything looked just perfect. It was all about finding the right balance between aesthetics and functionality, keeping the lobby's classic charm intact while adding a modern twist.

Plug & Play

To make things easy, we installed DiGidot C4 lighting controllers. This allows the lobby staff to change lighting scenes right from the lobby itself. Talk about convenience! There is a temperature sensor in place that will trigger the controllers to turn off, if the temperature exceeded 45degrees.

Seamless Integration

Our lighting solution? The Linears G36 Multi Color 3000K, stretching out over 400 meters. Hidden away in a canopy and tucked behind a stretch ceiling, these fixtures bring a touch of magic to The Regency Lobby. With a Digidot Live controller and MADRIX server combined, we can tailor the lighting to suit the vibe, whether it's laid-back or lively.
