About the Project

The story


Pink Gellac, originally a webshop, now has its own shop with the unique manicure concept they were already known for online. This Colour Boutique, located in the Westfield Mall in the Netherlands, has the largest selection of nail polishes that last up to 14 days on your nails. For this market leader in DIY nail polish in the Benelux and Germany, OneEightyOne provided the dynamic LED lighting, commissioned by First Impression. The brightly coloured, generally pink, lighting which you'll find all over the store, perfectly matches the image of Pink Gellac.  

THE
PROCESS

For this project, there were various components where dynamic light had to be adjusted. For every component, another technical solution was needed to be able to integrate the lighting optimally in the interior and furniture. A close collaboration with the interior designer and the joiner was important to make this a success and has ensured that all LED lighting has been used to its optimal potential.

We supported our clients' team with the installation of the dynamic LED lighting on location for just over a week. During this time we installed and programmed the lighting around the entrance, the floating ceiling and the bar. .

The Team

Due to the flexibility to adjust our working, we have efficiently realized this project with a very short planning. By using so many different lighting solutions in one store, we have created a very cool experience with limited space, with a surprise of moving light in every corner.
