About the Project
The story
For this project, we have developed a custom pixel-controlled LED strip with an opal globe, driven by the DiGidot C4.
We collaborated with KAP Lighting and ASTOUND Group, and transformed the entrance into an unforgettable dynamic lighting experience. When visitors approach Allegiant Stadium, the monumental home of the Las Vegas Raiders, they see two colossal custom-made pixel-controlled chandeliers, each measuring around 9x9 meters.
THE
PROCESS
At the core of this project is the custom DiGi Globe and RGBW LED Strip by OneEightyOne. Using experience from earlier showcases, the team created a unique lighting solution with 7,600 DiGi Globes. Through smart integration, technology and aesthetics merge seamlessly, bringing pixel-controlled chandeliers to life.
Adapting to global circumstances, OneEightyOne embraces innovation through remote management. Despite pandemic restrictions, the assembly, programming, and synchronization of the DiGi Globes and RGBW LED Strip are flawlessly executed from a distance. This ensures a captivating installation, capturing the essence of the design vision while overcoming logistical hurdles.
